Boro Takes Home Another WIN
Rivalries are not built on hatred....they are built on respect. Respect for determination, hard work, excellence, and the love of the game. The Challengers witnessed from the sidelines how Point Boro honered that respect with a 39-13 win over Manasquan at our very own Al Saner Field to a packed house under the Friday Night Lights. Quarterback Matt Oliphant and his mighty offense drilled out a total of 227 yards and four TD's for the night. Conner Cilento carried for 61 yards while the junior back Jake Croce crushed the second half with 76 yards and two touch downs. Our powerhouse defense made it very clear who was boss and in the end Boro rushed for a total of 381 yards with six touchdowns to bring home the win in a much anticipated game against two long rooted rivals. The momentum continues next week on the road against Holmdel and our boys know that "success is not owned, its leased...and rent is due every day." JJ Watt
